Alley Cat Advocates Receives $75,000 Grant
from PetSmart Charities® to Sterilize 2,000 Cats
Louisville, Kentucky – March 1, 2010

Alley Cat Advocates received a generous $75,000
grant this week to increase its number of spay/neuter surgeries for unowned,
free-roaming cats from 4000 to 6000 over the next two years.
The organization’s 10 year-old sterilization program proactively fights the
area’s dire cat overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering stray cats.
The grant-funded Alley Cat Neighborhoods program offers free spay/neuter
services for stray, free-roaming cats being cared for in
